Finishing Services Inc. was founded in 1975. From the outset, Finishing Services supplied zinc and manganese phosphate coatings as well as providing cleaning and pickling services for it’s sister company, Marsh Plating Corporation. Equipment was subsequently added to process copper, nickel, tin, electroless nickel, dip spin and 3M mechanical coatings.
From 1983 – 1987 Finishing Services undertook major physical plant expansions which saw it expend in excess of $1 million, adding over 5,000’2 to the facility. Integral with this expansion was the installation of a state of the art waste water treatment facility, new dock facilities and modernized process control laboratories.
This pattern of growth and improvement has continued up to the present, with over $3 million dollars having been expended on the modernization of existing equipment and installation of new equipment.
